BE STRATEGIC...
There is a strong call that we are hearing from the Lord in this hour. We must be strategic!
So I ask myself, "what exactly does it mean to be strategic?" I looked up the word "strategic" in Websters dictionary and I felt the definition shed some amazing light on what the Lord is saying to His Bride.
Strategic, according to Websters Dictionary means:
"Characterized by sound strategy; favorable; advantageous. Essential to effective military strategy, designed to operate directly against the military, industrial, etc. installations of an enemy. Required for effective conduct of war."
Let's face it, the war is raging around us but we know that according to 2 Corinthians 10:4 our weapons are not carnal, but mighty in God. Our greatest weapons are worship, prayer and fasting. This makes what is happening in Arizona through non-stop prayer very strategic.
It is amazing that we are getting ready to start our 3rd year of non-stop prayer. We are certainly celebrating all that the Lord is doing, however; we must always be seeking Him for what His heart desires for now. What I am sensing is that we must make a shift as we move into this next season.
During the first two years of the AZPray initiative, people have fallen in love with Jesus through radical encounters with Him in the prayer room. We have seen individuals and churches get radically changed as they have taken their watch on the wall. In our third year I believe we are to raise the bar on the level of prayer that is happening throughout the State. We must shift into a greater level of informed intercession.
We are committed to seeing the "Torch" of non-stop prayer continue to travel around this state and beyond. Additionally, we also believe that the Lord is wanting us to expand our tent pegs with training opportunities and regional gatherings to fan the flames of intercession. In the near future, we will be providing key prayer points so that you can join with us as the "Torch" continues to travel.
As we keep our eyes on the Lord of Hosts, our Great Commander and move strategicallIy as He instructs, I believe with great expectancy that we will see a mighty move of God.
"When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him."
